Glen Carlisle - Director

Glen Carlisle is no stranger to Midlothian. A graduate of Midlothian High School, his pride in this community has shined through his many hours of service and volunteer efforts.
Glen works for Gerdau Ameristeel and has been in industrial operations for 34 years. Glen has enjoyed the teamwork and camaraderie that have emerged from his Chamber involvement. He appreciates the insight gained from his volunteerism, and has witnessed the many changes in our community – from new business to the people moving into the area and has participated in many community events.
Glen is an esteemed member of the Chamber Board of Directors and is genuine in his sincere desire to be helpful to others. He is known among his colleagues as a team player, looking for ways to be of service.
Married 30 years, Glen is the father of two grown children, and is a life-long citizen of the area. He and his wife attend the Cowboy Church of Ellis County. Glen enjoys motorcycles, hot air ballooning, and water sports. Glen is the 2009 recipient of the newly created Chairman’s Award of Appreciation.
