Cherie Marley, this year’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, has worked for TXI for more than three years in the human resources and safety department. She holds a bachelor of science in biology from Lindendwood University in St. Charles and is currently working on her MBA from the Argosy University in Dallas. Cherie got involved with the Chamber three years ago to learn more about Midlothian and to network with fellow Chamber members. Her term on the Board began in 2008, and she has enjoyed participating in Chamber activities. During her term, Cherie has seen the Chamber work toward its mission and achieving its strategic plan. Through her participation in the Board, Cherie hopes to continue to offer fair and neutral input, and to donate her time to volunteering at Chamber events.
Cherie is married to her husband, Darrin have one daughter, Marilyn, who is seven years old. They attend Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, and currently reside in Arlington. Cherie plays co-ed soccer at Apex in Mansfield.
