“CREATIVE CULTURE FOR CHANGE” is the theme of Lighthouse Coffee’s Spring Art and Music Festival, April 28th from 11am to 10pm. Booths representing local, national, and international humanitarian causes will be set up to raise awareness and connect the community to their causes. Admission to the festival is free.
The festival will feature continuous performances on three stages by an eclectic blend of energetic bands, acoustic acts, and soloists. Headlining will be the nationally sought-after band “Listener,” acclaimed for their unique spoken-word and musical diversity. Find out more about them at iamlistener.com.
Art galleries will display the work of local artists, including those who use their talents to address social issues. As in past festivals at the Lighthouse, a “Kids Zone” will give an opportunity for children to discover and display their budding creativity.
The full Coffee House food and drink menu will be available, as well as a variety of other food vendors – all of which will support local and international charities.
Easily accessible just 30 minutes from either downtown Dallas or Ft. Worth, the Lighthouse has offered “community, art, eats and drinks” since 2009 and is already a venue for some exceptional local and national talent. The street address is 1404 North Ninth Street, just off of Highway 67, and there is a map available on the website at lighthousecoffeebar.com.
